Detached Accessory Dwelling Units
A standalone home for the rest of your life.
The scope, plainly.
A DADU — detached accessory dwelling unit — is a freestanding second home on your property. Unlike an attached ADU, it sits apart from the main house with its own foundation, roofline, and outdoor approach. That separation is what makes them so versatile: privacy for an aging parent, real rental potential, a dedicated studio, or simply more livable space for a growing family. We build single-story and two-story DADUs from the dirt up, working within Seattle's pre-approved DADU plan program when it makes sense and going fully custom when it doesn't. Our crews handle excavation, foundation, framing, MEP, exterior, and a finish package selected to either complement or intentionally contrast your main house.
